- PREPARE PERFECT WHEAT BERRIES – Add a satisfying bite and bulk to breakfast! Place wheat berries in a bowl and cover with water. Soak up to 12 hours and drain. Combine berries with 1.5 cups water, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan over high. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Cook until tender - 35 to 45 minutes. Remove from heat and steam for 15 minutes. Drain excess liquid. Enjoy!

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 1 part wheat kernels to 2 parts water. Bring water to a boil. Stirring, pour grain in slowly. Let water boil again, then turn the heat down to the lowest setting. Cook for about 1 - 2 hours. If you soak the grains overnight, the cooking time will be reduced to 30 - 45 minutes.
