Noires, luisantes et faciles à cuisiner, ces lentilles Béluga viennent de Syrie. Elles cuisent rapidement et sont plus riches en acides aminés que les lentilles vertes, rouges ou du Puy. Ne requièrent aucun prétrempage et sont fermes, faibles en amidon et de saveur minérale de noisette. S'utilisent comme les lentilles du Puy. Spectaculaires en accompagnement de saumon rôti ou de pétoncles poêlés. Superbes en salades avec des poivrons jaunes et rouges grillés, ou en garniture d'une crème de tomates.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Rinse 1 cup of lentils. In a pot, add the lentils and 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook until tender. Approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Drain before use.
