Cooking Instructions:
Soak peas overnight or at least 8 hours. Bring 4 cups of water and 1 up of soaked peas to boil. Add 1 tsp salt. Cover saucepan and cook on medium to low heat for 60-90 minutes or until desired tenderness. Add more liquid if necessary. Drain and serve.
