Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Shallots (minced)
- 1 cup Red Wine
- 3/4 cup Port Wine
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1/2 tsp Herb de Provence
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 6-8 oz Beef Tenderloin Steaks (cubed)
- Rosemary (optional, to garnish)
- Nest Pasta Bundle
Instructions:
- Cook pasta. Bring water to a boil and add salt if desired. Add the pasta and stir let it cook stirring occasionally until pasta is "al dente", approximately 6-7 minutes. Remove from heat, drain and set aside.
- Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the beef and brown on each side. Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same pot, add butter and shallots and saute until tender. Add the seared beef, wine, port, broth and herb de Provence and boil until liquid is reduced about 10-15 minutes.
- On a serving plate, pour port sauce over pasta and enjoy!
